Why Would an Architect Try to Become a Writer?

Two years ago I told my online friend about a spelling test I took when I was 12. This test was about the rule i before e except after c something I never grasped, especially since my last name, Peist, does not follow this rule. I took the test and smiled to the teacher when I handed it in. She said “Wow, you’re done early let me grade it for you now.” I stood by her side as she gasped and then began to use all the red ink in her pen. My paper looked like a bloodbath after a war, marked with a large 0 with a sad face inside it glaring at me in all its unhappiness. “This can’t be my grade!” I protested. “Oh wait, I made a mistake,” she said, “I forgot there are only 19 questions, worth five points each.” She scribbled out the zero and replaced it with a 5 with another unhappy face in its belly. After that I promised myself I would work my hardest the next semester to spell everything correct. I did just that and recorded the following three marking periods with “100’s” on my report card. When I told my friend this story I said, “I never want to mispell another word again,” to which she laughed, “lol, u just mispelled misspell!” From that moment on I took on the challenge of becoming a writer!
